The School Tour is back......

Hello people, we have great news!

Did we just launch the Pay Attention to Her project and go to sleep? No, we did not and will not! We only paused because schools went on vacation.

But Guess what? Our #PATHschoolTour is back this September.

We will be taking our advocacy to 9 more schools across the 3 senatorial zones of Kogi state with our target being to reach 3000 more girl child before the end of November.

The #PayAttentionToHer Project which was launched on May 30th, 2018 seeks to address female empowerment, health and promote their sexual and reproductive health and rights. This project kicked-off with girl child empowerment series, menstrual hygiene, sexual health education and distribution of free sanitary materials to school girls in Kogi state. This is centered around our thought that if young girls are exposed to their potentials they will transform in a resource for nation building. In addition, being taught about the implications of poor menstrual hygiene to their reproductive health, they will better cater for themselves and be free of distractions emanating from ill health all translating into better self-perception and self-esteem which enhances their functioning.

Our next is the Muslim Community school, Lokoja, Kogi state. We have already paid an advocacy visit to the school authority and they are anticipating the experience.
